Bitumio can send information out to third parties such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, and other CRM Software Platforms that accept API requests. Bitumio sends that information based on events that we use within Notification Triggers.
View this guide on our YouTube page:
Bitumio > Left Navigation Bar > Organization Settings > Notification TriggersStep 1: Choose which Job Phase Type you would like for your Trigger. Here, we use 'Job Phase Scheduled,' the status is 'Active,' and the Delay is set to Zero, meaning the notification will be immediate.

Step 2: To use API settings for this Trigger, set the Notification Channel to API. This reveals new Trigger options to complete:
- Where are you going to send the information.
- What information do you want to send.

Step 3: The Endpoint URL is the 3rd Party's base URL which you will send the information to. Each CRM platform has it's own destination URL.

Step 4: Depending on the platform you choose, they will request the information format in either 'POST' or 'GET' requests.

Step 5: Headers (usually Authorization) are used to tell the 3rd party what information is coming and how to expect it.

Step 6: Request Fields define the specific information your API Triggers will include. This section can included multiple fields, all of which deploy automatically once your trigger parameters are met.

Step 7: If the receiving party needs a value to accept the incoming request, you would complete the 'Signing Secret' field.

Step 8: When you have your Trigger configured, Click Save.
OPTIONAL: You may test your API Trigger by clicking 'Test Trigger' next to the Save button.

Select the 'Send Test Request' button in the pop-up. This will send the 3rd party a sample request and show you if the request was successful and you have your trigger set up correctly.
