Organization Settings

This article will explain the Organization Settings and how they affect the use of the Bitumio Software. 


Navigate to Organization Settings

Step 1: Click the "Organization Info" option under "Organization Settings" on the Left Navigation Bar


Settings

  • Average Working Hours
    • This is the average number of working hours your crews word per day.
    • This number is used to calculate the number of days to complete a Job which is used when scheduling Jobs. 
  • Use Recurrent Contact for New Proposals
    • When this is enabled, a Company that requests a Proposal from the website will be assigned to the same Estimator that has previously prepared Proposals for that same Company.

Step 2: Click the "Employees" option under "Organization Settings" on the Left Navigation Bar

  • Employees
    • Entering Employees here will be available when adding Job Costing to Jobs. 
    • Employees do not count towards your Subscription User Count.

Step 3: Click the "Addresses" option under "Organization Settings" on the Left Navigation Bar

  • Addresses
    • This is where you can store the addresses for your Organization. This can store your Office address and your Yard address.
    • Whichever address is marked as the "Primary Address" will be used to calculate the travel distance and time in Proposals and Jobs.

Step 4: Click the "Addresses" option under "Organization Settings" on the Left Navigation Bar

  • Logo
    • Upload a logo that should appear in Proposals, Work Orders, Emails, and other forms of internal and external communication sent from the software.
  • Name
    • Your Organization Name that should appear in Proposals, Work Orders, Emails, and other forms of internal and external communication sent from the software.
  • Phone
    • Your Organization's Phone Number that should appear in Proposals, Work Orders, Emails, and other forms of internal and external communication sent from the software.
  • Email
    • Your Organization's Email Address that should appear in Proposals, Work Orders, Emails, and other forms of internal and external communication sent from the software.
  • Organization Documents
    • Upload any documents that need to be easily referenced by other members of your team. 
    • Future: These documents can be attached to Proposals as part of the sent package. For example, a municipality requires your Workers Comp and Insurance documents with a submitted bid. These can be uploaded and sent attached to the proposal.
