Managing Product Types

Bitumio > Left Navigation Bar > Product Settings > Products

2. Here, all Product Types are displayed. Information is tabulated via various columns that include Name, Type, Markup %, Indirect %, Overhead %, Products, and Actions.

3. Clicking a Product Type name displays all the Products inside the selected Product type. Alternatively, you can click the View Products hyperlink.

Creating a Product Type

1. Click the button. Doing so takes you to the Create Organization Product Type screen.

2. Here, record your organization name using the Name field, and select the Type.

3. Enter the default percentages for the Product Type in the percentage fields.

4. Once the required details are recorded, click the button.

Adding Products to a Category

1. Select the Product Type to which you want to add Product(s) to, click the icon under the Actions column. Doing so reveals a list of options.

3. From these options, click Create Product. This takes you to the Create Product screen.

Updating or Deleting Product Types

1. Click the icon under the Actions column for the product type you want to update. From the options displayed, click Update.

2. Once the desired changes are made, click the button.

3. Alternatively, from the options displayed, choose Delete. this opens the confirmation pop-up to confirm you want to delete the Product Type, including the Products within the category.

4. To confirm, click the button.
